David Chen C.P.P (certified)

Ever since his high school years on the beautiful island of Jamaica, David developed an avid interest in photography which led to his success as a professional photographer today.

A 1975 graduate of a photography school in New York City, David excels in the areas of weddings and portraits as well as commercial photography. Capturing the natural elegance in people is David's goal in photographing all his clients and in his view, this is the essence of a truly great photographer. His work is a testimony to this art.

Mindful that the wedding day belongs to the couple, David caters to their photographic needs in a manner that is professional, courteous and unobtrusive. He offers personalized and artistic services with absolutely no pressure. Couples will be delighted with his attitude, his work, his experience and most of all, enjoy the traditional / photojournalistic approach he uses. He crafts his photography with the finest of professional digital cameras, a variety of lenses, techniques and a photo assistant to make their wedding day a success.

Many clients prefer the ambiance of their home for their portrait and David accommodates these kinds of requests. It is not unusual for David to be photographing some of his couples at a beautiful park or maybe at the sea shore for their engagement session. This interaction between his couples before the wedding makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable day for all.

David is continually honing his creative and technical skills through seminars and workshops sponsered by the Professional Photographers Association of New Jersey (PPANJ) to better meet the expectations of his clients.

In addition to receiving the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award, and having his work displayed at Disney's Epcot Center, David received his Professional Photographer's Certification (CPP) from the PPA.
